Property marking

  Swale Borough Council, Kent County Council, and AmicusHorizon work closely with Kent Police to assist Swale residents mark their property - so that they are able to discourage theives as well as ensure recovered property is returned to its rightful owner.

 

Forensic security systems are a valuable asset in the Partnership’s fight against crime; and promotion of their use within treated areas acts as an additional deterrent to offenders.  There are a number of Forensic Marking Solution companies on the market, including:

The CSP has so far provided Smartwater to 1000s of households across the borough.  SmartWater carries a unique forensic code which is virtually impossible to remove and links marked property to its owner and address. 
 

Offenders know how SmartWater works AND that items and suspects are regularly scanned for traces of the liquid.  They know it can link them to a crime scene and holds a 100% conviction rate!

 

 

By marking your valuables with a forensic solution AND advertising that you have done so, you reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
