What is Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)?
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) can mean different things to different people.
It is important to define what it is, so that those suffering from it and those people responsible are clear about what we mean.
Anti-social behaviour is virtually any intimidating or threatening activity that scares you or damages your quality of life.
This can include:
- rowdy, noisy behaviour
- vandalism
- menacing groups
- drug dealing or associated nuisance
- intimidating neighbours
- aggressive begging
- on street drinking - find out more about Swale's Alcohol Control Areas
- setting off fireworks late at night
- abandoned, untaxed or nuisance vehicles
- deliberate fires
